Honey Competition & Volunteering

Once again this year the Missouri State Beekeepers Association will provide a sales and information booth at the MO State Fair in Sedalia. Located in the agriculture building, the booth provides valuable information and displays about honey bees, beekeeping, and beekeepers.

We are organizing an “EMBA Club Day” for Friday, August 10th, where the booth will be sponsored and staffed by members of Eastern Missouri Beekeepers.

Spending a day at the state booth is lots of fun and a great opportunity to meet beekeepers from around the state and assist in spreading our message to the general public. It’s also a great way for us to promote our club. And …

Honey Competition

For those entering honey and honey-related products in this year’s fair competition, Tim has volunteered to make the drive to Sedalia on Monday, August 5th to deliver our entries. If you would like your entry to be taken down by him, you must deliver your products WITH ENTRY FORM, VENDOR FORM AND FEE to his house at 19230 Skymeadows Dr., Wildwood, MO. OR Tim has offered to pick up entries at 1:00 on Sunday, August 4th from the EMBA Extractaganza at Camp Wyman.  Entries must be in Tim’s possession by Sunday evening, August 4th.
