May EMBA Open Apiary Day

Do you want some hands-on experience with beekeeping experts on Saturday, May 18th, 2024? Join us for our open apiary day at our Danforth bee yard. We will be checking honey supers and reviewing the status of our hives. This is a great opportunity to look at all phases of bee development and do a little work to keep our hives healthy. If you want to join, please meet at the Danforth Plant Science Center at 975 N Warson Rd, Olivette, MO, from 12:00-2:00 pm. You must have protective gear to be in the yard. See you there!
Anyone participating in the hive inspections will need to have their own protective gear and sign a release form before entering the bee yard.
