No matter what type of hives you use, or beekeeping methodology you follow, one common trait shared by good beekeepers is TAKING NOTES. With notes you can accurately understand next steps or get help from a mentor.

The EMBA Mentoring Program assists new beekeepers in developing their beekeeping skills by introducing them to an experienced beekeeper who will help them one on one during their first year.

Located in St. Louis, Missouri, the Eastern Missouri Beekeepers Association (EMBA) is a volunteer-based organization that trains beginning and advanced beekeepers, promotes beekeeping within the region; and provides networking opportunities for beekeepers, old and new.
