March 2024 Monthly Meeting

Kent Williams will be our keynote speaker, he will be talking about Swarm Management, how to trap swarms and making splits.
Kent is a Kentucky-based EAS Certified Master beekeeper who has been in beekeeping industry for 30+ years. In that time, Williams established the Kent Williams Bee School in conjunction with the Lake Barkley Beekeeper’s Association, as well as provided education to beekeepers all over the country. Best known as a stand up comedian with decades of bee knowledge, Kent is a treasure trove of practical beekeeping wisdom. When Kent isn’t out in the bee yard you may find him out in the garden, helping a neighbor, picking a guitar on his back porch or mentoring another fellow beekeeper.
The EMBA will provide light refreshments and social time starting at 6:30 pm, the presentations will start at 7:00 pm. Our meetings are open to everyone. See you there!
