🐝 2026 Eastern Missouri Beekeeping Workshop & Honey Show

📍Holiday Inn, Sunset Hills, MO

Join us for two days of beekeeping education, community, and fun! Whether you’re brand new to beekeeping or a seasoned pro, this event offers something for everyone.  Saturday’s event includes continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshments.   We’re still working out all the details, ticket prices will be posted soon.


🐝 Workshop Overview

Beginner Beekeeping Course – Saturday February 21, 2026, 8:00 am –6:00 pm

  • Who it’s for: Those with no prior beekeeping experience
  • What you’ll learn: Basics of beekeeping to prepare you to start in the spring
  • Includes:
  • A beginning beekeeper’s book ($20 value).
  • A follow-up session later in February to help you get started

Experienced Beekeepers Course – Saturday February 21, 2026, 8:00 am –6:00 pm

  • Who it’s for: Intermediate to advanced beekeepers
  • Focus areas:
  • Honeybee biology
  • Queen rearing
  • Pest control
  • Colony behavior

  • Who it’s for: We heard your feedback, so we’ve added a half day course geared specifically to help intermediate year beekeepers.
  • This class can be added to your Beginner or Experienced ticket.
  • Focus: Your bees overwintered, now what?  This course will provide you with the skills to maintain and grow your apiary.

🍯 Honey Show – Saturday February 21, 2026, 8:00 am –6:00 pm

  • More categories added this year = more chances to win awards
  • Open to all—show off your best honey!
