November Club Meeting & Honey Cooking Competition

Pull out your favorite honey recipes and prepare them for our meeting on Wednesday, November 13th. We would like to have a lot of entries for the judges to compare & members to eat. REMEMBER there are CASH PRIZES awarded along with bragging rights!

COOKING WITH HONEY PRESENTATION

Mary is a trained pastry chef and  won a honey cooking contest earlier this year.  She is an co-owner of Yolklore a breakfast & lunch restaurant in Crestwood, MO.  (If you have not tried their food you are missing out!)

Social Time: 6:15 PM – 7:00 PM
Meeting: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

All EMBA members are encouraged to take part in the annual honey cooking contest to be held at our November 13th club meeting. Entries will be accepted for judging between 6:15 & 6:45. in the small meeting room behind the auditorium. LET YOUR IMMAGINATION BUZZ !!! All entries MUST contain honey as the main source of sweetener and be accompanied by the recipe. Participants may enter in the following categories: ¨ Breads (bread, muffins or rolls) ¨ Cakes & Pies ¨ Cookies & Granola ¨ Miscellaneous (barbeque sauces, jellies, nuts, ice cream, candies, drinks) The quantity submitted should be whole loaves of bread, six or more muffins, rolls or cupcakes, whole cakes or a dozen or more cookies. Please bring any necessary serving utensils for your dish. The judges will need your recipe listing the ingredients and preparation instructions. Please add your name and phone number to the back of the recipe. Judging will be done by culinary students and their teacher. Winners will receive a CASH Award After the judging, entries will be taste-tested (DEVOURED) by all in attendance!

We suggest using the Olive Blvd.  Entrance shown on the map below.
It is located between Lindbergh Blvd. & Warson Road.

Follow the signs to the R Visitor’s parking lot or W1 parking lot.
Enter Building R through the front doors.
You will be directed to the O auditorium.
