Volunteer Opportunity: Missouri State Fair Beekeepers Booth
We’ve committed to managing the Missouri State Beekeepers booth at the State Fair in Sedalia on Friday, August 8th. The booth will be sponsored and staffed by members of the Eastern Missouri Beekeepers Association.
We’re looking for 10–12 volunteers to help cover two shifts:
🕥 Morning Shift: 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
🕝 Afternoon Shift: 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
The booth will be located in the Agriculture Building, where we’ll be sharing valuable information and eye-catching displays about honey bees, beekeeping, and the role of beekeepers.
Spending the day at the booth is not only a lot of fun, but it’s also a great chance to connect with fellow beekeepers from across the state and engage with the public to promote awareness—and our club!
Bonus: The building is air-conditioned. 🐝❄️
